Very pleased with the work that Nick and Tim, with Kirkwood Fence, performed for us. Both men were informative and courteous. They arrived as scheduled. Asked me questions before they started to be sure the relocation of the two handrails was where we wanted them to be. The two white vinyl handrails were bolted in place in decorative concrete on our front porch. Nick and Tim moved the two upper posts and Re secured them onto the concrete porch floor. The lower posts were installed in the ground in concrete. At completion (see photos), the work area was neat. Our concrete porch surface, aside from the original bolt holes, was not damaged. When we decided to get our backyard fenced, we took our time and got numerous ideas and estimates from a number of local companies. We ended up choosing Kirkwood Fence for a number of reasons. First off, Tom did a great job of designing and finding creative solutions for a few of more difficult areas of the yard. He worked in conjunction with our landscaper to ensure that we'd end up with a well thought out and beautiful result. We were truly impressed with the time and care he put into this before even receiving the deposit for the job. Also, the price fell below some of the other well known local companies. And finally, the professionalism of their installation crew and high quality end result was just the icing on the cake! I highly recommend them! ~ Jennifer S

These guys are PHENOMENAL! My gate stop working with all the snow. I called and talked with Jim. Within minutes he called back and said that his contractor (Patrick McDermott) with Automatic Gate and Door would be stopping by on his way home! Patrick was there within 20 minutes and my gate was back working (again within minutes). Both Kirkwood Fence and their contractor, Automatic Gate and Door, were amazing. This type of service just seems to not exist anymore. It was a lifesaver as I have two dogs that I let out in the back yard (the gate was stuck in the open position) - this would have been difficult to manage had they not be SO responsive! We are very pleased with our black aluminum fence from Kirkwood Fence. The estimator (sales rep), Jim, was professional and friendly. His estimate was the lowest of four we received. The installers did a fantastic job, removing our old fence and putting in our new fence in one day! They were hard workers and never stopped working during the installation. They worked well together as a crew and cleaned up our yard after they finished. Both the sales rep, Jim, and the supervisor, Todd, stopped by our house while the work was being performed to be sure everything was going well. We can’t believe what a difference this beautiful fence makes to our back yard! We would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a fence. ~ Katie B

After deciding which type of fence we wanted installed. We called several installers for bids. Kirkwood was not the least expensive but, they were in the running with all of the others (some higher some lower). What helped me choose was reputation (by speaking to a few folks who used them), that the company has been around for a good long while and their customer service. All of my pre-selection questions were quickly and thoroughly answered. And now that the job is completed, I am completely happy with the fence, the installation. It was obvious that the installation crew knew their stuff, had a good leader and did the job beautifully. I'll definitely use them if I need more fence work. I just want to say that working with Kirkwood Fence was a great experience from start to finish. From obtaining the permit to final install, my salesman, Tom, walked me through the whole process and answered my 1 million questions with no problem 😬. The team that did the installation was awesome to work with. They were very efficient, showed up when they said they would and finished the job on time. They kept my yard clean during the project and made sure everything was back to normal when they left. They even stacked my landscaping block back up so I wouldn’t have to do it! We definitely recommend Kirkwood Fence. Every thing went smoothly from start to finish. Setting up the appointment was quick and easy, Jim provided an email estimate that same day. The office called and set the installation date, and Jim, Jose, and his team arrived right on time, and finished the job in one day. Our yard was maybe a little complicated because of large shrubs and a dry creek, but they handled it flawlessly. Jose's guys worked hard, and are professional and methodical. Cleanup was exceptional as well. They also repaired an existing chain link gate so that it now opens and closes smoothly. We love our beautiful new vinyl fence! ~ Mary R

Stray Rescue recommended Kirkwood Fence as our newest rescue could easily jump our 4’ chain link fence.Jim came out to measure and give us a bid on 6’ vinyl privacy fence. He was super friendly and professional. The price was much lower than the Covid era when supplies were short and prices were crazy high! Tim was in charge of installation and his crew came after our recent snow storm , cleared the snow away, removed the old fence, and installed our new privacy fence in a day! Really enjoyed working with them from start to finish! Jordan my project manager was personable, communicative and accessible as my vision and needs adjusted and stayed in touch during the long tail of home construction. My installers including Jhon and Denys were excellent! They went the extra mile to make sure the job was done exactly as needed and made adjustments on the fly with smiles on their faces. The gate fabrication is beautiful and the materials exceeded my expectations. They are not the cheapest option but they fought to be competitive in pricing and the service was overall excellent. ~ Andrew K

A 10/10 from the initial sales call from Ted (who was very responsive and followed throughout the process including implementation day) to the implementation. We got several bids and Kirkwood Fence was the most competitive and thorough. Jose and his crew showed up Monday morning on time and he was incredibly professional and his team delivered a very high quality install. Our backyard is on a slope and he took the time. to explain to me the best way to go about a "stepped" fence install. I can't say enough good about my experience with this company. I most definitely do recommend Kirkwood Fence for all of your fence and gate system projects. I am 100% satisfied with the service and quality of their work. I had them install a driveway gate/security fence and they answered all of my questions from top to bottom. Kirkwood Fence did an amazing job installing the fence at our new home! They were courteous, efficient both when designing and installing the fence, and very reasonably priced. We also did not feel pushed to design a fence project that did not meet our goals. In other words, I never felt like we were being pressured to install a more expensive fence than we wanted to install. I recently used Kirkwood Fence to remove and replace an old fence around my yard and could not be happier with my choice. Every person that I spoke with (and there were several from the initial quote to the planning/permitting to the installation to a couple of minor adjustments after the install) had great attitudes and could not have been more helpful. Kirkwood fence is amazing!! My fiancé and I called about 5 different places looking for a black chain link fence that could be done quickly! Kirkwood came out gave us our estimate, and then I expressed that we had to have the fence by a certain date, so they moved things around. Our fence was installed within two weeks of our estimate; a week ahead of our deadline, and it looks amazing. They left our yard clean and the fence is beautiful. We recently had a fence installed by Kirkwood Fence. After quotes from 5 different fencing companies we landed on Kirkwood Fence. The sales representative we worked with was Jim. He helped us to place our order and figure out measurements. We ran into a few snags after getting our survey and seeing where property lines landed and Jim worked diligently with us to help us figure out the best possible solution to meet our needs. His work ethic and willingness to help was above and beyond. The whole process went very smoothly and we couldn’t be more pleased with the help we received from Jim. Kirkwood Fence was fast, responsive and professional. I was dealing with a very annoying municipal government harassing me over my leaning gate (Florissant). Thankfully, Kirkwood Fence had already agreed to take care of the replacement and they did it well within the reinspection timeframe. They showed up on the day agreed upon well within the timeframe, communicated clearly and built a beautiful 40 foot wood privacy fence in a few hours. When I called we got an appointment fairly quickly. Nile came out, listened to our needs, measured and had an estimate to us via email later that day. I was impressed. We set an app, everyone involved showed up on time and did a fantastic job under the guidance of Jose. Jordan and Mauricio were great. Jordan was always reachable and provided updated quotes for anything I wanted pricing on. Mauricio and his team were fantastic installers. I felt very comfortable with them being at my home while I was not there. I had to make a change to something that I had overlooked mid project and Jordan ran out the missing material that same day. I highly recommend Kirkwood Fence. Nile was our rep and was very thorough and responsive. They did an amazing job, installation was flawless and complete in one day. There were no surprises, no last minute changes — everything was very organized from start to finish. When comparing fence companies, you may find another company at a lower price, however the service, quality and flawless execution makes it worth every penny at KF. My wife and I had a fence at our home that had seen much better days. It also became a unique project as our old posts were built into a concrete retaining wall. We called Kirkwood Fence on a recommendation from a friend, and they were quickly responsive to our call making an appointment to come see the situation we had. Very quickly, they had the solution where not only could we get a new fence, but it would be much sounder than the one we had previously. We were on the schedule after the time was needed to prefabricate some posts that would help us get the job done. The workers were extremely polite and professional. They did not rush the job; they too very good care of not just the fence while putting it in, but of our garden that they had to work around at places. They explained what they were going to do before they got started, and by the end of the day, we had a fantastic new fence. The team at Kirkwood Fence was amazing! Pat was incredibly responsive and was able to diagnose the issue(several rotting cedar posts) rapidly. He provided great clarity on what the process looked like for getting the posts replaced and I only had to wait a couple weeks for the repair. When Mauricio's team came out they worked super fast- getting everything done in less than 2 hours- and left no mess or debris. Super helpful and considerate team! ~ Tanner W
